چکیده

حکما برای اثبات اشتراک معنوی وجود و ابطال مشترک لفظی بودن آن به گونه‌ای استدلال کرده‌‌اند که می‌‌توان سه دلیل ذیل را اهم و اخص آن دلایل دانست. این سه دلیل عبارت‌اند از:
1. مقسم واقع‌شدن و قابل قسمت‌بودن وجود به واجب و ممکن و جوهر و عرض؛
2. تردید ذهن و تردد گمان، در خصوصیات ماهیات اشیا، با بقای جزم و یقین به مطلق وجود؛
3. واحدبودن نقیض وجود، یعنی عدم.
این در حالی ‌است که، از میان حکمای معاصر، منوچهر بزرگمهر در مقاله‌‌ای که از ایشان، با نام «اشتراک لفظی وجود»، چاپ شده است، دلایل مزبور را ارزیابی و نقد می‌کند و آن‌گاه مدعی مشترک لفظی‌بودن وجود و نفی اشتراک معنوی آن شده‌ است. نگارنده در این نوشتار کوشیده است همة نقدهای بزرگمهر را عیناً نقل و سپس آن‌ها را جزء به جزء بررسی و نقد کند و همچنین، با ابتنای بر اصول و مبانی صدرایی به ایضاح نقاط ضعف نقدهای وی بپردازد و یک به یک آن‌ها را ‌‌باطل و طرد کند و جوانب صحت و دقت منطوی در بطن دلایل سه‌گانة مورد نظر را ظاهر سازد و برخلاف رأی و نظر وی، اشتراک معنوی وجود را نتیجه ‌‌بگیرد.
