چکیده
برهان تضایف یکی از مهم‌ترین براهینی است که ملاصدرا برای اثبات اتحاد میان عاقل و معقول اقامه کرده است. این برهان پس از ملاصدرا مورد مناقشة فراوانی قرار گرفت؛ برخی از حکما آن را پذیرفتند و برخی دیگر به چالش کشیدند. مرحوم علامه طباطبایی از آن دسته حکمایی است که برهان مذکور را تام ندانسته و بر آن اشکالات متعددی وارد کرده است و خود در بدایة الحکمة و نیز نهایة الحکمة برای اثبات اتحاد عاقل و معقول راه دیگری را در پیش می‌گیرد. اما به نظر می‌رسد که هیچ‌یک از اشکالات علامه بر این برهان وارد نیستند

چکیده [English]
The argument of correlation which Mulla Sadra present to prove the unification of the intellect and the intelligible, although accepted by some philosophers, but the other criticized it.
Allameh Tabatabaii accepted the unification of the intellect and the intelligible but he refuted the argument of correlation by five reasons, and instead offered a new method to prove the theory. In this article, after stating all of his reasons, we have tried to reject them.
