		<Abstract>The creativity of man in Sadra’s ontology acquires authenticity by his position as the successor of God. This succession is defined by resemblance or mirror reflection. So man’s creativity can be defined under the way of the creation of the world by God which has been defined as manifestation, or emanation in transcendent theosophy. The representativeness of god, besides the issue of mental existence plays a significant role in ascribing creativity to man. Also in exploring the ontological and human soul related aspects of creativity, Sadra’s thoughts on the human soul and correspondence of man’s perceptional stages with the modes of existence, and also his perceptional theories regarding the role of intellect and imagination in creativity and finally the issue of revelation and intuition have been found highly related to the subject of creativity. Also, according to Mulla Sadra, the creativity of man was found having different levels which could be paired with technology and art. Architectural creativity could be defined under them both. Beside this, the explanation of creativity by man’s journey in the different modes of existence, can be attributed to architecture as a result of man’s modification of his environment in the ascending or descending journey between the modes of the world or during his stand in them. This argument can be a basis for analyzing and evaluation of Islamic architecture from the perspective of its development process.</Abstract>
